Supporting Rail Upgrades at Geraldton Port

RMC is grateful to have been entrusted by the Midwest Port Authority to undertake upgrade works in Geraldton.

The project began with the delivery of the first 26 rails to Geraldton Port. These 50kg per metre rails, each measuring 27.5 metres in length, were unloaded using RMC’s recently acquired Volvo L90 loaders, with operators working in perfect unison to unload four lengths at a time.

RMC site teams were also visited by CEO Gary McLaughlin and members of the Executive Leadership Team, who attended prestart meetings, conducted site tours, and provided lunch for the crews.

A big thank you to the team and site leadership for their dedication to safety and for maintaining such a high standard throughout the project.
