TLI27121 Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure
COURSE INFORMATION
This is a general qualification for a person engaged in the rail infrastructure environment who performs tasks involving a broad range of skilled applications in a wide variety of contexts and has had experience in basic rail construction and maintenance operations. It may involve application of some discretion and judgement in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures. It may also include responsibility for coordinating the work of others.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
COURSE DELIVERY
This course is delivered over two five-day blocks and covers 16 units of competency. Our upgraded Perth training pad now features a dual-gauge turnout, providing learners with a more complete, real-world training experience.
COST
- First installment – $1,500.00 to be paid at enrolment
- Second Installment – $1,500.00 prior to commencement of “Week 1” training
- Final Balance – $600.00 due prior to commencement of “Week 2” training

Week 1 (5 Days)
- TLIF0025 Follow work health and safety procedures
- TLIE1003 Participate in basic workplace communication
- TLIF0020 Safely access the rail corridor
- TLID0020 Shift materials safely using manual handling methods
- TLIB0012 Maintain and use hand tools
- TLIF2010 Apply fatigue management strategies
- TLIB2085 Apply track fundamentals
- TLIU2008 Apply environmental procedures to rail infrastructure
Week 2 (5 Days)
- TLIB2092 Operate minor mechanical equipment
- TLIB2001 Check and assess operational capabilities of equipment
- TLIB1093 Clean equipment and restore worksite
- TLIS2031 Install railway sleepers
- TLIS2034 Install and repair rail fastening systems
- TLIS2030 Carry out track ballasting
- TLIS2044 Carry out rail installation
- TLIF0008 Apply safety critical communications in the rail environment
