Albany rail project, RMC Rail Services
Despite some of the Albany’s harshest winds and chilly, rainy weather, the RMC Rail Services team managed to successfully complete this rail project for our valued client within budget and much earlier than anticipated.
The works included multiple sections of timber sleeper to concrete replacement works, a 1:10 turnout renewal (including new ballast) and installing new hand-thrown levers for two turnouts.
Our team worked to a very tight schedule next to a live ARC Infrastructure Mainline (Woodchip trains) with protection provided by our dedicated Protection Officer who ensured all machines stopped working and people moved away from the adjacent line when trains were passing. Our experienced and committed Supervisors ensured all works were completed with no injuries or breaches.
