Investigate Rail Safety Incidents – Dean R

Having used the ICAM methodology in previous investigations, I found the TLIF0045 Rail Safety Incident Investigation course to be a refreshing and practical alternative.

The course struck a good balance between theory and hands-on learning. The simulated investigation was a real highlight—it gave us the chance to apply everything in a realistic setting. The trainer was excellent: engaging, knowledgeable, and brought a lot of real-world experience to the table. I walked away with more confidence in planning and leading investigations, asking better interview questions, and pulling together solid, fact based reports. The templates and tools we were given will be genuinely useful in day-to-day work.

Overall, it was a well-run, relevant, and very worthwhile course for anyone involved in rail safety investigations.
