RMC Track Protection is a major provider of Track Protection and Safeworking Support to Rail Network owners in Western Australia including ARC Infrastructure and PTA. Over the past 5 years, our Protection Officers and Safeworking Coordination Team have played a central role in the delivery of major projects including:

Off the back of significant success and client demand, more recently RMC has established Track Protection Services in New South Wales based out of our Newcastle Depot.

Service Offering: 

  • Providing the highest quality Track Protection resources through established auditing and surveillance practices underpinned by ISO9001 Accreditation
  • Ability to respond quickly to client demands through an established pool of Protection Officers working for a range of customers and rail network operators throughout QLD, NSW and Western Australia
  • Development of Rail Safety Management Plans for Building and Civil Contractors, Water and Energy Authorities
  • Provision of consultancy support to review Construction Methodologies in order to minimise Track Closure Requirements
  • Provision of consultancy support to help establish Safe Zones or Protocol Sites where-by works can be conducted safely without the need for permanent protection through the establishment of barriers and access protocols
  • Support for the development of permit applications for Non Invasive Trenching and Services Under boring
  • Establishment and Management of Construction Track access protocols for assets under construction, facilitating the safe interaction between Track Machines and OTVs with work groups undertaking construction
  • Protection Support and Consultancy underpinned by centralised Project Delivery and Engineering team ensuring that teams have a strong understanding of building and construction methodologies in order to provide the highest level of support to the delivery of the project
